Project controller

In order to strengthen their Group Project Controlling team, we are currently looking for (m/f) :

1 Junior Project Controller and 1 Senior Project Controller

As a Project Controller you will be part of a team of 4 and will report to the Group Project Controller.

Job description:

Project & Product Business

You will be in charge of controlling the customer projects and provide support to the Global controllers for the set up and maintenance of group reporting. Your main tasks will consist of coordinating, managing and following up all the administrative, contractual and financial aspects of the project/product orders:

  • Project – / Cost controlling and monitoring including profitability calculations
  • Monitoring invoicing and receipt of advance and progress payments and actively support the collection team and monitor credit risk
  • Supporting the Project Manager for project related reporting and preparing project status meetings
  • Control forecast prepared by project management
  • Monitoring the invoice receipt and payment of our agent / suppliers / subcontractors
  • Arranging and Monitoring of payment securities, bank guarantees and currency risk / insurance cover
  • Active supporting the Project Manager for change and claim management
  • Fiscal year and month-end closing
  • Prepare post mortem analysis for specific projects
  • Control application of internal control procedures

Group Reporting Support

You will work with the other Group Controllers on ad-hoc and regular reviews of the different Business Units, keeping track of the main KPIs to help understand the performance of the company:

  • Ad-hoc support to Group Controllers
  • Work and support on Board Reporting
  • Creation of yearly Budget and follow-up of Actuals

Your profile:

  • Master degree in finance/economics and international trade or equivalent by experience
  • Relevant experience in a financial position, preferably in an international scope
  • Financial controlling Skills
  • Contract management
  • Basic knowledge of IFRS
  • Proficient in MS office applications (mainly Excel)
  • Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
  • You have a very good level of French and Dutch and you’re fluent in English
  • You are ready to travel up to 30% of your time
