Sales Engineer – Foseco France – Group Vesuvius

FOSECO SAS France, the Foundry Division of Vesuvius Group plc, a world leader in the supply of foundry consumables and solutions, is looking for a :

Sales Engineer

In order to manage and develop existing business with local customers, and develop new business with potential customers in defined markets, you report to the Sales Director and take the following responsibilities:

  • Analyzing and following up customers’ business and needs in your area
  • Building strong customer relationships with purchasing, production, management and identifying their needs
  • Ensuring accurate and timely visits and market reports
  • Managing and developing existing business with local customers and looking for new business opportunities
  • Preparing and participating in products and solutions presentations together with the Product Managers and technical support of the company
  • Following up and organizing actions to be taken for clients (tests, presentations, claims, etc)
  • Participating in price negotiations
  • Participating in budget elaboration and annual plan definition
  • Organizing plants visits for key accounts in order to reinforce the company’s image
  • Managing costs and expenses linked to the covered region

Your profile:

  • You have a proven experience of minimum 5 years in a sales position and in a similar industrial sector
  • You have the ability to understand customer’s organization, markets and technical issues
  • You are used to work and interact at all levels of an organization at customers and internally
  • French speaking you are able to communicate and to participate in commercial and technical meetings in English too
  • You are autonomous and trustful with the sense of responsibilities
  • You are ready to travel in the assigned region during week time with regular hotel stays
